Human development is a process by which an individual grows into maturity. This biological process entails the growth of all organ systems in the body; one of which is the integumentary system.
The integumentary system is composed primarily of the skin and all its appendages such as the hair.?This system serves as a protective layer that separates the delicate internal organs from the external environment.
As the human person grows to maturity, the hair and the skin also grow along with the biological process of development.
