Aug. 4 Miami Taste of Brickell?s ?Inaugural Burger, Beer & Balls Bash? to Benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade

Miami, Fla. ? ?On Saturday, Aug. 4 from 4-10 p.m., The Miami Taste of Brickell Food & Wine Festival is presenting its Inaugural Burger, Beer & Balls Bash, an exciting event that will not only provide fun for the whole family, but also benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. A portion of the event?s proceeds will go to Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to support its positive programs for area children who need them the most.

The Inaugural Burger, Beer & Balls Bash will take place at the historic Miami Circle (behind The Icon at Brickell), 401 Brickell Ave., Miami, FL 33131. It will feature over 25 local restaurants sampling burgers and meatballs, unlimitedcraft beer samples with the purchase of a VIP ticket, a demo on how to build a unique burger, a burger eating contest by B&B Burger & Beer Joint at 7 p.m. (teams can apply for the contest at the Mary Brickell Village location), live all-day concert, wine & spirits VIP lounge, Miami Marlins free kids play area including arts and crafts, car exhibit, exhibitors and vendors, and charitable organizations.

Miami?s most celebrated restaurants and chefs will interpret what a ?burger? or ?meatball? means to them, and attendees can pair the burgers or meatballs with some of the most unique, sought-after, well-made beers available. Those attending can also vote on their favorite burger or meatball.

The party continues at 10 p.m. at the after party at Club 50 at the Viceroy Miami hotel, located at 485 Brickell Ave., Miami, FL 33131.

The Inaugural Burger, Beer & Balls Bash is one of many events that The Miami Taste of Brickell produces leading up to its Grand Festival on March 23 and 24, 2013.

Ticket costs per person are:

????????? $10 General Admission ? Includes access to live music, giveaways, vendors, and free kids area. Attendees buy tickets for food and drinks as they go; food and beer samples range from $1 to $2.

????????? $25 Wine & Spirits Admission ? $25 bracelet can be purchased for unlimited open bar at wine and spirits tent (21 and older only may enter wine & spirits tent.) Must also purchase admission ticket to event.

????????? $65 VIP Early Bird 4 -5 p.m. Admission (must be purchased online) ? Unlimited beer crafters tastings and 30 $1 vouchers to purchase drinks, burgers and meatballs samples. Over 25 burger and meatball samples offered.

????????? $75 VIP Admission 5-10 p.m. ? Same as Early Bird offerings

????????? $100 VIP Admission 5-10 p.m. ? Same as Early Bird offerings plus wine & spirits VIP lounge entry for unlimited open bar (21 and older only may enter wine & spirits tent.)

Children under 12 are free (children must stay with their parents or guardians.)
